about me
Chris isn’t just a marketer—he’s a strategic alchemist, seamlessly blending insight, creativity, and business acumen to drive executive-level brand and business transformations. With a sharp eye for opportunity and an innate curiosity, he turns every project into a journey of discovery, unlocking new possibilities and elevating brands to their full potential. Also, he happens to be quite tall.
Chris earned his degree in International Political Economics and Economics from Bates College, where he conducted extensive research culminating in a thesis exploring the enduring economic, security, and political ramifications of Iran’s constitutional transformation from 1979 to 1989.
Seeking to expand his academic foundation, he continued his studies at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Roman art/architecture from the Republican (510–31 BC) and Imperial (31 BC–AD 476) eras.
Chris launched his career as a management consultant in Boston and Washington, D.C., before earning his MS in Innovation & Entrepreneurship as well as an MBA from Northeastern University (the D’Amore-McKim School of Business). During business school, he worked with IBM, Schneider Electric, Nokia, Amazon, and Target, and spent a summer at EPAM Continuum working on product development and launch strategies for Target and Cervélo. As part of his MBA experience, he and his team built and successfully sold a business featuring patented technology to GM.
An advocate for innovation and mentorship, Chris was a founding member of IDEA, Northeastern University’s Venture Accelerator, where he helped early-stage entrepreneurs secure $15 million in venture funding, launching three successful businesses. One of his ventures became a Techstars member, raising $50 million and achieving a market capitalization of $416 million.
With over a decade of experience in brand transformation, content strategy, and business expansion, Chris has led strategic initiatives for industry leaders across technology, financial services, payments, and consumer brands. As a Senior Director of Integrated Marketing at Material, he has worked with clients including ABM, SAP, Amazon AWS, Chipotle, Mazda, SAP, Merck, Bush’s Baked Beans, and KFC—leveraging data-driven insights to fuel brand growth, drive demand, and enhance customer engagement. His expertise has shaped global campaigns, product positioning strategies, and go-to-market initiatives that have significantly increased revenue and market share.
